Vineyard Facts

Patti Fetzer is producing wine from her Patianna Organic Vineyards, 126 prime acres stretching along the Russian River in Hopland, Mendocino County. Patianna’s inspiration comes from the traditions of the Fetzer family, pioneers in organic and biodynamic viticulture.  Experience taught Patti that exceptional quality in wine is achieved when the land, the farmer and the winemaker operate in harmony.  The flavor, structure and texture of Patianna’s wines express terroir and reflect progressive, organic and biodynamic farming techniques, practices based on a broad knowledge of and deep respect for the cycles of nature.
